At PaWS, our curriculum is firmly rooted in our core Christian values of kindness, honesty, forgiveness, health, and resilience, which inform every aspect of our teaching and learning. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity, ensuring that every child feels valued and supported as they navigate their educational journey. Our bespoke curriculum reflects our coastal and historically rich context, utilising the local environment to enhance learning experiences that are both engaging and relevant.
Our ambitious vision emphasises collaboration with families, the church, and the wider community, aiming to equip all our children with the essential knowledge, skills, values, and behaviours necessary for flourishing and reaching their fullest potential. We uphold high expectations for all learners, providing inclusive and adaptive practices that cater to diverse needs while presenting appropriate challenges for more able students.
Effective feedback is integral to our approach, guiding students towards continual improvement and celebrating their achievements. Our curriculum is underpinned by comprehensive documentation that supports teachers in delivering high-quality instruction, ensuring progression and consistency across all year groups. By nurturing our students’ emotional and social well-being alongside their academic growth, we empower them to develop into resilient individuals who can thrive in an ever-changing world.
